Human Relations in the Workplace

An Introduction

Here at B&B Enterprises we strive to provide training that will be mutually beneficial to you, your coworkers, and your supervisors. As part of a joint effort to build a collection of training manuals within the entire company, B&B Nevada has designed a manual on Human Relations within the workplace to help new trainees learn to properly interact with fellow people within the workplace.

What are "Human Relations"

The study of Human Relations is a study of how people act within a group of people. In essence, Human Relations relates to how a person interacts with the people around them, how they can improve their relations with other people, and developing interpersonal and intergroup skills. Often, the end result of training to understand your coworkers and interact with them appropriately will be an increased sense of "People Skills".

What can you, as a trainee of B&B Enterprises, take away from this manual?

  • The ability to identify groups, organization within groups, and scope of group
  • The ability to recognize traits of a group member to learn more about them
  • The ability to avoid potential conflicts
  • Building relationships in the workplace
